A restaurant founded with endless passion
Its owner and creator is Michalis Delithanasis and as he reveals to us, “I made the decision to create Arsanas when I was just 23 years old, in 1996. A youthful decision that was to determine my path in the field and a choice that, as time has shown, was the right one. The space was an old shipyard (arsanas in the Greek nautical “language”) and belonged to a relative of mine. He gave it to me and that’s how Arsanas was born.”
If you were to ask us, the word that would describe Michalis Delithanasis is “passion”, as in addition to his administrative role, he has also fully taken on the role of chef. And this is because he wants to personally curate the flavors that he will offer to his “guests”. At Arsanas there are no customers, only guests, and this is exactly the hospitality he takes care to offer every day.
Arsanas consists of two floors and its dream garden by the sea. The location is idyllic – next to the waves and on the sand. An extremely well-maintained space both on the outside and inside, with wood dominating and country decorative elements giving their own touch of warmth.

Creative Mediterranean cuisine has its place at Arsanas, with fish and seafood playing a leading role. You will have the opportunity to experience a real gastronomic experience with roots from Greece, Italy, Spain, Israel, Turkey and Cyprus.
As Michalis Delithanasis states, “at Arsanas we make sure that no day is the same as the previous one. The menu changes almost daily, as we want to constantly offer new gastronomic thrills to our patrons”
Fish as the crowning glory of the menu
The fish you will find at Arsanas is fresh and carefully selected by the owner and chef himself. Marinated fish may be the “cream” of his menu, but Arsanas gives us a range of cooking options, from fried to grilled or stewed.
Some of our favorite choices are the smoked salmon stuffed with cod mousse, the tuna carpaccio, the breaded feta served with the famous Nikiti honey, the grilled squid with pesto or marinated in soy, honey and garlic, the bream savoro with tomato, vinegar, garlic and parsley, but also the Mediterranean pasta.
All this, of course, accompanied by the appropriate wine, from Arsanas’ fully informed cellar with the guidance of its experienced team for the appropriate wine pairing.
The other…door for its familiar guests
As it is humorously mentioned in Arsanas’ menu, for his familiar guests there is another…door. And what do they mean? The upper floor is dedicated to all those who know the uniqueness of the restaurant and leave themselves to the talent of the chef. They never order themselves, but let Michalis “direct” the table and choose the flavors that will accompany their moments… At the same time, there is also a degustation menu, while it is no coincidence that you will see many dishes with the names of Arsanas’ regulars.
Ideal choice for all year round
The restaurant operates with the same intensity and passion all year round, with the exception of the period from November 10 to December 15. It could not be otherwise, as quality food has no season…
