“Efxinos” restaurant has been in the same place for ten years on 1 Chalkis Street, in Kalamaria. The flavors of the menu

To make it even more … “alive”, imagine the aubergines of the aubergine salad “tradition” – as they call it here – handmade, freshly baked and straight out of the oven, cleaned and cut in front of you, on the appropriate board and served to you on the spot.
The traditional hot cheese sauce (tirokafteri) is made gradually, with the feta first being cut into cubes, the hot pepper being cleaned and gradually added to the feta, then the necessary mixing with olive oil is done, and the ingredients are crushed into a single tasty proposal, with the necessary herbs to complete it.
Accordingly, the Florina pepper with feta cheese is prepared – the “red pepper cheese”, as they call it: all the ingredients are presented and the dishes are prepared on the spot, at your table, emerging with their aromas and ready to eat.
In the same category of appetizers, the gialantzi dolmades, based on the traditional recipe, come to excite our palates.
Spoonfuls of fish tartare – varies, depending on the day – mussels steamed with white wine and mustard, seafood barley with prawns and mussels and gamberi – the ultimate small plate for ouzo – are among the standout fish and seafood offerings.
