Hype Fitness opened its doors in September 2024 at 19 Nestoros Typa Street in Thessaloniki, introducing a new and holistic philosophy to the world of fitness. From the very beginning, it stood out not only for its facilities, but mainly for the way it approaches exercise: as a process that should be effective, safe, enjoyable, and tailored to the needs of each individual.

Behind Hype Fitness is Dionysis Stavroutsis, with 20 years of experience in the fitness industry—an experience clearly reflected in the structure of the classes, the philosophy of the space, and the overall experience of every visitor.

One space, three different training styles

Hype is a concept that can rightfully be described as “3 gyms in 1.” The core idea behind Hype Fitness is that there is no single “correct” way to train. Every body, every person, and every goal requires a different approach. For this reason, the space has been designed to host three complementary types of exercise that work harmoniously together.

Small-group fitness training with substance and supervision

On the ground floor of Hype Fitness, fitness training takes place in small groups, with different styles and levels of difficulty (Cross Training – Cardio – Functional Body Building). Here, training is not mass-oriented or impersonal. On the contrary, emphasis is placed on supervision, proper exercise execution, and genuine care for each participant.

The programs combine strength training, aerobic exercise, and interval training, offering a well-rounded result. A key element is that everyone can choose the workout that suits them best, depending on their goals, fitness level, and mood. This flexibility is a fundamental pillar of Hype’s philosophy.

Pilates Reformer with a specialized approach

On the first floor, Hype Fitness hosts a modern Pilates Reformer studio, where classes are also conducted in small groups. Pilates Reformer is one of the most effective forms of exercise for strengthening, improving posture, flexibility, and movement control.

The low trainee-to-coach ratio allows for personalized guidance, which is especially important for both beginners and more experienced participants. Pilates at Hype does not function in isolation, but rather as a complement to fitness training, strengthening the body and helping to prevent injuries.

Yoga Studio: One of the most complete in Thessaloniki

On the same floor is the Yoga Studio, considered one of the most complete in Thessaloniki. Yoga at Hype Fitness is not just another trend, but a core part of the overall wellness philosophy.

Yoga practices (Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra (Meditation), Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga) help improve mobility, breathing, balance, and mental focus. At the same time, they support intense training by helping the body recover and function more efficiently.

When one style enhances the other

One of the strongest elements of Hype Fitness is that the different training styles do not compete with one another, but complement each other. Fitness builds strength and endurance, Pilates improves control and stability, while Yoga offers flexibility and release. This holistic approach allows members to create a program that truly covers all the body’s needs.

Supervision, guidance, and a human-centered approach

At Hype Fitness, the coach’s presence alongside the trainee is constant. Monitoring proper technique, adapting exercises, and ensuring safety are top priorities. Small groups allow for a specialized and personal approach, without pressure or competition.

Classes for everyone

At the same time, the structure of the training programs at Hype Fitness has been designed so that everyone can find what truly suits them, regardless of age, experience, or goals. Whether someone is looking for intensity, recovery, or balance between body and mind, Hype offers the right option.

Social fitness and community building

Beyond exercise, Hype Fitness invests in building a community—a place where people come not only to work out, but also to enjoy themselves. The atmosphere is pleasant, supportive, and friendly, so that training becomes a choice made out of enjoyment rather than obligation. The concept of social fitness is evident in every aspect of the space: from the atmosphere to the coach–trainee relationship and the sense of belonging.

Hype Fitness represents a new proposal in the fitness scene of Thessaloniki, combining experience, a scientific approach, and a human-centered philosophy. With three different types of training under one roof, continuous supervision, small groups, and a strong sense of community, Hype succeeds in making exercise not only effective, but truly enjoyable—a gym that doesn’t pressure you to change, but helps you evolve.
