Brunch Box opened in Thermi quite early, before brunch became as widespread as it is today, and from the start it offered something special: one of the few places where brunch is served all day long, in a fully specialized space, with every ingredient carefully selected and pure, sourced largely from the family garden, and everything—absolutely everything—made by hand.
It is a unique, pet-friendly venue, and certainly one of a kind in the wider Thermi area in terms of its menu. The kitchen stays open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., offering complete options for coffee and brunch throughout the day, with a single unified menu ideal for brunch lovers and beyond.
Brunch as a central concept — and the people behind Brunch Box
The idea for Brunch Box took shape after much thought in August 2017, as the personal vision of owner Kyriakos Tsohas to open a place of his own—one that would combine all the elements of taste, aesthetics, images, and sounds he had gathered from his travels abroad.
With great personal effort, the central concept of brunch, and the support of his parents—Anna and Vasilis, who took on an essential role—a family business was created. Kyriakos himself designed, decorated, and curated the space: a warm and peaceful place where anyone can enjoy exceptional flavors, with quality as the top criterion and a strong family essence that evokes dining in the courtyard of a home.
The relationship with customers at Brunch Box is direct and personal, which is why many regulars now frequent the space—people who feel at home, who associate the place with happy life moments, from birthday parties to all kinds of celebrations.
People come not only to enjoy their brunch but also because they love the environment—decorated with real plants, giving the café–restaurant its distinctive character. It has become a favorite spot for all ages and interests, as everyone finds something familiar, something they love.
The most delicious handmade menu
The menu is dominated by handmade creations. From fresh, free-range country eggs—the main ingredient of the menu—to the beloved homemade pies by mom Anna (such as the chicken pie she used to make for her son when he was ten, which all his friends adored), to fresh salads made with daily-picked vegetables from the family garden, and desserts like the Millefeuille. Everything is made with pure ingredients and leaves the best culinary memories.
Although the core of the menu remains timeless, Brunch Box constantly evolves with new additions—sweet or savory—created through experimentation and testing.
So beyond the classic custard or cheese bougatsa, you’ll find apple pie, homemade “batzina” with zucchini and garden herbs, French toast with berries, Greek omelettes, salmon eggs Benedict, tri-color quinoa, savory pancakes, various savory snacks, and something particularly special: khachapuri—traditional Georgian fried cheese bread with five different cheeses, made with the authentic recipe.
A focus on healthy eating
Vegan and vegetarian options are naturally part of the menu—after all, every dish leans toward healthy and pure eating. Among the options are vegan gnocchi, falafel, and rich bowls with yogurt, peanut butter, honey, fruits, and more. Drinks include their own 100% homemade lemonade, a wide variety of smoothies, juices, milkshakes, and healthy beverages such as matcha, traditional salep, and all types of coffee.

Brunch Box was named Best Brunch Spot in Thessaloniki in 2019 by Biscotto and continues on its upward course. Its success is due to the family behind it, who follow their own ideas and values—doing what they truly love. Contributing to its stability is the fact that most of the staff has remained the same since day one.
