Having opened on New Year’s Day 2014, in an old, renovated detached house in the area, “Diorofon” has since become a meeting point for all kinds of people, thanks to its intimate atmosphere, which makes everyone feel comfortable. You will see groups of residents of all ages in the area, to well-known musicians from the country and abroad and we guarantee that from morning until late at night, you will relax and receive the best and friendliest service!

Tour of the space

Here, you come with your mood, without having to get into any special “mood”. You enter through the gate on Kerasountos Street and find yourself in the courtyard or inside, in the boho living room on the ground floor, to enjoy your coffee, soft drink, or drink of your choice, as well as fresh juices, which are prepared on the spot.

Going up, the staircase leads to the first floor, where the comfortable bar is located, in a space with a more industrial decoration. In this particular space you will find eight different beer barrels – in the past, the store has stood out for its beers – so you can choose the one closest to your preferences, a rich and very updated cellar while, especially the signature cocktails, are given special importance here and so you can be sure that whatever you choose will be something more than quality. In addition to the alcoholic options, alcohol-free suggestions are also offered.

And finally? Throughout the year – since, in any case, it is protected from the weather conditions – right from above, the boho and bohemian aesthetic terrace of the former house has been transformed into an additional meeting place, where you can enjoy your drink. The café bar “Diorofon” is, thus, essentially … three-story, a space that guarantees you comfortable entertainment on each level, which will lift your mood!

The “Diorofon” is also a ticket pre-sale point for concerts organized throughout the city, while its owners themselves organize concerts of foreign, as well as Greek artists, in Thessaloniki and Athens.
