The steakhouse “Fate Skaste” opened on 24 Vasileos Georgiou Street in January 2016 and since then it has won its own fanatical audience, who prefer it both for their outings and for their orders at home or the office.

Its portions and sandwiches, delicious and rich, make you want to order again because of the deliciousness, even if you are already completely full from the first order. For this reason, when in 2019 the second store opened in the city center – in a historic spot in Ladadika, where the former “Kateriniotis” operated for decades – it did not need much introduction and immediately became a favorite destination for lovers of well-cooked meats .

Stergios and Lia created “Fate Skaste” wanting to offer the world the best in meat, with raw materials from domestic producers and products that are prepared daily and entirely on site in the store, where they are grilled exclusively on coals , to have the taste that they themselves desire. That’s what they focused on and that’s what they’ve been doing since the first day they opened their doors, when they let us try their delicious spit-roasted meats, pancetta, sausages, burgers, fries, cool salads.

First quality meats are grilled – exclusively on coals, did we say that? – with mastery and we taste them in a simple and comfortable environment, which smells of deliciousness, as any self-respecting grill should smell and invites us to work our way there, from meters away.

Spit-roasted meat and souvlaki

The priority here is the spit-roasted meats, especially the chicken kontosouvli, which has, to date, garnered the best customer reviews.

In a portion, accompanied by potatoes and a seasonal salad, in Arabic pitta bread with ingredients of our choice, in the classic sandwich where we also choose the rest of the ingredients, but also in the form of a club sandwich, with mustard sauce, tomato, lettuce and onion, it opens the way for unique gastronomic delights.

Pork kontosouvli – again in all the above combinations – to be enjoyed, Elassonitiko – pork roll wrapped in kefalotiri, stuffed with red and green pepper – as well as pork gyros and the corresponding souvlaki.

We also enjoy the unique spit steak on a sandwich and the grilled meatballs on Arabic pitta bread with pork pancetta, to complement our choices of well-cooked, juicy meats.

The main thing? What we see on the spit during our visit to the store is ultimately what they will serve us, fresh, hot and well-cooked.

For those who have a more special diet or want something without meat, there are always the lighter sandwiches with mushroom and halloumi skewers, with falafel or with a vegetable burger.

We recommend them all, unreservedly! Mainly because we can enjoy them in a friendly and family atmosphere – where the mood is high and this is something that is also transmitted to the customers!
