“Choureal” remains unique in Thessaloniki, even though it has now acquired a second store, on Venizelou Street. There is no equivalent sweet destination with absolute specialization in choux, another place where profiterole has its full due, as a “tailor-made” product and for this reason, it has entered our hearts for good.
The founders of “Choureal” loved profiterole and wanted to give it its own place and its own space in the market of Thessaloniki and introduce us to its history, which begins around 1530, as an invention of the Italian confectioner, Panterelli.
The profiterole here is made “à la minute”, in front of the customer, thus giving the opportunity to participate in the creation. This means that the dessert is always fresh and personalized, according to his desire.
The delicious choux are always freshly baked, since they come out of the oven every hour and upon order, they are filled with either velvety madagascar vanilla crème patisserie, or fresh handmade ice cream.
The ritual continues with the choice of high-quality chocolate, which will complement the profiterole, and ends with the choice of garnish.
