Exceptional products from Greek producers and flavours from around the world
At Edodimon Delicatessen, a piece of cheese can be the beginning of a new culinary discovery, a spice can inspire a whole new direction in your cooking, and a beautifully prepared platter can bring friends and family together around the table, taking you on a journey of flavours.
Opposite Modiano Market, at 26 Vasileos Irakleiou Street, small-scale Greek producers meet culinary traditions from around the world in a delicatessen shop packed with carefully selected products for everyday enjoyment, special occasions and deliciously thoughtful gifts.
Housed in the former premises of the renowned Kosmas grocery store, Edodimon opened its doors in 2016, giving the historic location a fresh, contemporary chapter. The beautifully renovated space, with its European-inspired aesthetic and carefully presented products, invites you to browse the shelves and discover flavours that deserve a place in your kitchen.
From Greek producers to kitchens around the world
Every product is selected with care and thorough research, with particular emphasis on Greek produce. Honey, jams, pasteli, traditional spoon sweets and handmade pasta in a variety of shapes and colours come directly from producers, bringing with them the flavours and traditions of their place of origin.
Alongside them, olives and olive oils, dakos and barley rusks, handmade halva and fine chocolates complete a collection that bridges the traditional grocery shop with the expectations of a modern delicatessen.
Spreads, sauces, seasonings, rare spices and aromatic truffle or garlic oils provide plenty of inspiration for both everyday cooking and more adventurous culinary creations.
The journey continues across Europe, Asia, Mexico and India. Noodles, dumplings, sushi rolls and spring rolls sit alongside taco shells, fajita ingredients and accompanying sauces, offering everything you need to explore different cuisines. The traditional Greek favourite salted cod is also available as fillets, while snails are among the more distinctive choices.
With an even greater love for cheese
In recent years, Edodimon has placed even greater emphasis on cheese and dairy products, significantly expanding both its range and expertise. Cheeses from around the world form a rich and ever-changing collection, with seasonal selections offering something new to discover throughout the year. A particular highlight is the sheep’s milk cheese with truffle, whose rich character and distinctive aroma stand out from the very first bite.
Personal service plays an important role here. The knowledgeable team is always happy to introduce you to the products, help you choose according to your preferences and suggest combinations that will elevate your table. At the charcuterie counter, pastourma and soutzouki have their own special place, alongside prosciutto and other carefully selected delicacies.
Platters and hampers, made your way
Whether you’re planning an evening at home, a dinner with friends or looking for a personalised gift, Edodimon prepares cheese and charcuterie platters as well as hampers filled with carefully selected products. Choose from one of the suggested combinations or create your own, according to your taste and budget.
A typical platter includes five cheeses, three types of charcuterie and a chutney, with the option to customise it to your preferences. The hampers can feature ready-made selections including aged tsipouro or another spirit, while bespoke combinations can naturally be created according to each customer’s wishes.
The wine selection complements the culinary offering, with around 90% of the wines coming from carefully selected Greek wineries, alongside labels from Greek craft breweries and spirits from around the world.
If you’re looking for delicatessen products from every corner of the globe, Edodimon is certainly worth a visit. It brings tradition and quality from the shelf to your table, with flavours and products sourced from around the world!
